The DICOM Validation options specify whether the selected station should verify that objects sent to the station comply strictly with the DICOM specification.
To verify that communications to the station are DICOM compliant
On the Setup tab, click Network Management.
Switch to the Capabilities tab.
From the list at the bottom of the tab, select the station to configure.
Under DICOM Validation, select None, Warn, or Fail.
None is the default. To log a warning message for non-compliant objects, select Warn. To refuse all non-compliant objects, select Fail.
Click Save.
