If you have added a station or updated a station’s settings, test the station to ensure that the connection to the system works properly.
To test the connection to a station
On the Setup tab, click Network Management.
Click Test.
In the Test network station dialog, from the Station list, select the station to test.
Optionally, select the Perform Ping First checkbox.
When selected, this first checks that the server is reachable before testing that the connection works properly.
Click Test.
Read the results of the test.
If the ping is successful and the station test is successful, the new station is properly set up.
If the station fails the test, check your settings and connections before testing again.
To close the Test network station dialog, click Exit.
