Deleting a field mapping

When the system receives an image, it analyzes information or fields in the study header to perform operations on the study—such as flipping images to a preferred orientation. This is referred to as field mapping, because it involves associating values of study attributes (fields) with a particular expression.

Various field mappings are provided by default. If necessary, however, you can delete these defaults. Alternatively, you can create a field mapping for particular cases, which can in turn be deleted when no longer required.

CAUTION!

CAUTION!

Deleting the default mappings may cause incorrect data to be recorded in the system. Before making a change to the field mappings, contact your service representative for assistance.
