Use the Administration Tools Image Access Manager to modify the relative priorities applied for source stations that send images to destination stations. The higher the number, the higher the priority. With multiple cluster configurations, set the priorities such that stations pull from the sources nearest to them first.
![]() | Note: The greater the number, the higher the priority. So a priority value of 5 represents a higher priority than a value of 1. |
For station containers and the Internet container at the hub (core) site, we recommend the following source priorities:
Network Gateways at the hub—highest priority (for example, value 5)
Archives at the hub—next highest priority (for example, value 3)
All spoke (remote) destinations—lowest priority (for example, value 0)
At the spoke sites, we recommend the following source priorities for station containers:
Network Gateways at that site—highest priority (for example, value 5)
Network Gateways at the hub site—next highest priority (for example, value 3)
Archives at the hub site—next highest priority (for example, value 1)
Network Gateways at any other spoke sites—lowest priority (for example, value 0)
