Stations on which a user logs into the IMPAX Client are automatically added to the Configure area - Stations section. (By default, all new stations are placed in the Internet station container.) If you need to prevent a station from gaining access, you cannot simply delete the station, because it will reappear the next time the user logs in from that station. But, you can place the station into a station container that is configured to prevent access to IMPAX.
To block stations from using IMPAX
From the Configure drawer menu
, select Stations.In the navigation pane, add a station container called Blocked Stations, for example.
Drag any stations you want to block into Blocked Stations.
Select the Blocked Stations station container.
Configure the Business Services access for that container so that the URLs point to invalid addresses.
Note:
Note that the URLs must still be validly formed URLs; otherwise, you receive an error.
Now, when someone tries to log into a station that is located in the Blocked Stations station container, they will receive an error.
