If they are no longer required, you can delete stations, station containers, or containers. Generally, you delete a station only if the IMPAX Client software has been uninstalled on that station. Otherwise, the next time a user logs in from that station, it will reappear. If you want to prevent a station from running the IMPAX Client software, refer to Blocking stations from using IMPAX.
To delete a station
- empty cmd -
From the Configure drawer menu
, select Stations.
In the navigation pane, right-click a station and select Delete Station.
The station is deleted.
To delete a station container or container
In the navigation pane, drag all stations or station containers out of the item to delete and into other [containers] or station containers.
Containers are surrounded by square brackets.
Right-click the station container or [container] and select Delete Station Container.
The station container or container is deleted.
![]() | Note: You cannot delete the default container called [Workstations] or the station container called Internet [Default]. Normally, Internet is the location where all new stations are automatically placed the first time a user logs into IMPAX on the station. |
