Viewing studies for a specific patient


As required, you can display the studies for any patient in the cycle list or already opened in the Image area.

Tip

Tip:

If the patient you must view is not in your current cycle list or in a patient tab in the navigation bar, you can find and open the patient from the List area.

To view studies for an already open patient

  1. In the navigation bar at the bottom of the Image area, click the tab listing the patient whose studies you want to view.

    If many patients are open and the one you want to view is not displayed as a tab, click the navigation button. Navigation

  2. Select the patient from the menu that appears.

    The tab highlights and the patient's studies are displayed.

To view studies for a specific patient from the Cycle List

  1. In the cycle control at the bottom-left of the Image area (see image below), click the # of # text box between the two arrows.

    Patients are listed with their studies collapsed. To view all the studies of a patient, click the plus sign (+) next to the patient. To turn off patient grouping, click the + column header. Notice the plus sign (+) turns to a minus sign (-). To turn patient grouping on again, click the minus sign (-).

  2. In the Cycle List, double-click the patient row.

    The patient's studies are displayed and the numbering in the cycle control updates accordingly.

Note:

If configured, the patient menu may also contain single-byte, phonetic, or ideographic versions of East Asian patient names. You can use these versions of the name to select which patient to view, but only one format of the patient name is displayed on the bottom bar. The navigation bar may be displayed at the top of the Image area.
