Hiding the top toolbar and bottom navigation bar

To minimize visual distractions, you can hide the Image area top toolbar and bottom navigation bar, which includes the cycle control and status bar, until you move the pointer toward them.

To hide the top toolbar

  1. In the Image area, right-click on an open area of the bottom navigation bar.

  2. Select Auto-hide > Top Toolbars.

The top toolbar moves off the screen. To see it, move the pointer toward the top of the Image area. When you move the pointer away, the toolbar moves off the screen again.

CAUTION!

CAUTION!

We do not advise turning off all patient demographics in the Image area. Configuring the Client so no patient demographics are immediately visible in the Image area introduces a risk of misidentifying a patient.

To hide the bottom navigation bar

  1. Right-click an open area of the bottom navigation bar.

  2. Select Auto-hide > Bottom Toolbars.

The bottom bar moves off the screen. To see it, move the pointer toward the bottom of the Image area. When you move the pointer away, the toolbar moves off the screen again.

Tip

You can easily restore these bars so they are permanently displayed by selecting Auto-hide > Top Toolbars or Auto-hide > Bottom Toolbars again to clear the checkmark.

To move the navigation bar to the top of the Image area
