You can choose whether the Available Series palette and the Cine toolbar float in the Image area, meaning they can be moved with the mouse pointer, or are fixed in place to the side of the displayed images, such that neither overlaps.
To fix floating palettes to the side of images
If setting preferences for other users, impersonate the user or role.
Press F12 or, from the Image area top toolbar, click Customize.
In the Customize dialog, switch to the User Profile tab.
Under Startup Defaults, select the Embed windows checkbox.
Note:
We strongly recommend that the unembedded Available Series palette be used when viewing mammography images. Embedding them creates gaps, takes away from the available Image area, and when embedded at the top of the Image area, causes misalignment of breasts in certain CRM views.
From the Show Available Series list, determine where you want the Available Series palette embedded in the Image area.
To save the changes and close the Customize dialog, click OK.
When next displayed, the floating palettes are fixed in place. To release one, click Unembed.
