Window level presets are predefined window level values that can be applied to an image, either by default or by selecting and applying them.
Certain window level presets are provided with IMPAX. You can create more as required.
To create a window level preset
If setting preferences for other users, impersonate the user or role.
From the Image area top toolbar, right-click the Window Level button menu.
From the menu, select Customize.
In the Adjust Window Level dialog, select the Modality to apply the preset to.
If available, select the Body Part.
To apply the preset to all body parts for this modality, select DEFAULT.
Type a descriptive Label for the preset.
Type the window (W:) and level (L:) values. Window values must be positive. Level values can be negative.

Move the pointer over an image section that has the window and level values you want to capture, and click.
Click Add.
The new preset appears at the bottom of the list.
To close the dialog, click Close.
