When using the Window Level tool, you can fine-tune the window level values. Changing these values affects how much the brightness or contrast changes with each mouse movement.
To set fine and broad window levels
From the Image area top toolbar, Window Level button menu, select Window
level.

If necessary, change the scope of window leveling to image, series, or study.
Otherwise, the default scope for window leveling is used.
Click the scroll wheel on the mouse.
The pointer is centered and a small number, representing the current fine window level stage value, is attached to it.
To continue adjusting, repeat step 3.
The setting you chose is used when applying the Window Level tool.
