Filtering the worklists displayed in the Worklist Library


When authenticating with a smart card, impersonation is not available.

When created, worklists are placed in a role in the IMPAX role hierarchy, much like being placed in a file folder. This helps PACS Administrators organize the worklists into logical locations. You can view any of the worklists created, if you have the required permission. If not, you can only view worklists created for your role. If you cannot find the worklist you need in the Worklist Library, or if too many worklists are displayed, you can filter them. For example, you could display all worklists associated with the Radiology Department or you could hide all worklists except those associated with Breast Imaging.

To filter the worklists displayed in the Worklist Library

  1. If setting preferences for other users, impersonate the user or role.

  2. In the List area, click Worklists.

  3. Switch to the appropriate worklist tab.

  4. In the View pane, select the checkboxes of roles associated with the worklists to view.

    Selecting a checkbox selects only that role. Right-clicking a checkbox selects that role and all of its sub-roles.

  5. Clear the checkboxes of the roles associated with worklists to hide from view.

    Clicking a selected checkbox clears only that role. Right-clicking a selected checkbox clears that role and all of its sub-roles.

The worklists in the group are filtered to display only the ones associated with the selected roles.
