IMPAX 6.5.1 Client Knowledge Base: Extended > Reading studies
IMPAX includes several options for reversing changes that you have made to images in the current study. The available tools fall into two broad categories: Undo and Reset.
Undo
The IMPAX Undo tool works in a similar fashion to Undo commands in other Windows-based applications: It cancels the last image change made. If you select Undo repeatedly, it continues to cancel changes in the reverse order that they were applied. Undo applies only to changes made in the current session, however.
The last “undone” change can be reapplied by using the Redo tool. Redo can also be selected repeatedly. Undo and Redo work the same way regardless of whether the changes were saved or not.
Reset
Reset tools, by contrast, reverse all changes of a particular type that have been applied to the study since the study was last saved in this session or, if it has not been saved, since it was opened. And while IMPAX includes only one Undo and one Redo tool, several types of Reset tools are available:
| Button | Name | Reverses changes made with |

Geometry Reset | Rotation and Flip tools |
