If you cycle to another patient's study or close a patient's study images in the Image area while the Orthopaedic Application is still open, you are asked to save your current work and close the Orthopaedic Application window.
To close the Orthopaedic Application window
To keep working on the image in the Orthopaedic Application before exporting it to IMPAX, save the changes by selecting File > Save As or by clicking Save As.

If your planning work is finished, export the information to IMPAX.
Once you have exported your planning information to IMPAX, you can no longer change the planning information. It becomes a permanent part of the image.
Select File > Exit.
If you have exported your work to IMPAX, when asked to save changes, click No.
Closing the Orthopaedic Application does not close IMPAX.
