To save completed orthopaedic planning work for a patient, you must export it to IMPAX before continuing to the next patient. If you switch to another patient in the Image area while the Orthopaedic Application is open, you are asked to save your current planning work and close the Orthopaedic Application.
To export orthopaedic planning work to IMPAX
In the Orthopaedic Pre-Surgical Planning window, click Export to PACS.
After a few seconds, you can view the images in the IMPAX Image area with the pre-surgical planning work attached.
 | Note: Once you have exported your planning information to IMPAX, you can no longer change the planning information. It becomes a permanent part of an image (a secondary capture) associated with the original study. |
