You can set one color and one grayscale printer as the system default. These become the default printers for all users under that top-level role, though different default printers can be set for individual users as needed.

To select a system default color and grayscale printer
From the Configure drawer menu
, select Preferences.
In the navigation pane, select a top-level role.
You cannot define default printers for roles below the top level.
In the details pane, expand the Image Area bar.
Switch to the Printer Preferences tab.
On the Default Printers tab, from the System Default Grayscale Printer list, select the printer to use by default for non-color printing.
From the System Default Color Printer list, select the color printer to use by default.
The selected printers are assigned as the system defaults. The changes are saved automatically when you switch context.
