Status bar information


A status bar appears on the right side of the Image area's bottom navigation bar. This topic provides details about the information shown on the status bar.

Pane Label Description
1 Calibration Indicates the source of the calibration: none, the modality, the modality with ERMF applied, or the user. Calibration does not appear for computed modalities such as CT and MR.
2 Magnification The scale factor of the image where the pointer or the Magnify Glass window is over.

Pixels or other values

The value of the pixel where the pointer is over. In CR and DR studies, this value represents optical density (OD). In CT studies, it is Hounsfield Units (HU). For NM and PET studies, no values are displayed.

For breast images, two magnifications factors are provided: full pixel resolution (P) and true size (T).

4 Series description The description of the series the pointer is over. The box lengthens to fit the description, to a maximum of 25 characters.
5 DICOM series and image numbers The DICOM number for the series (S) and image (I) the pointer is over.

The number for the series (S), page (Pg), and image (I) the pointer is over. This can differ from the DICOM number if, for example, the series is combined.

Tip:

You can set the bottom navigation bar to always be displayed or to be hidden until you move the pointer toward it. The navigation bar may be displayed at the top of the Image area. The navigation bar may be displayed at the top of the Image area.
