Use the Pixel Value Toggle tool to display pixel values below pointer when viewing studies. The pixel value used for CR is Optical Density or Hounsfield Units, while Hounsfield Units are used for CT studies. Values provided for other modalities are often relative and not direct scale (such as Hounsfield Units) values.
To show and hide pixel values
From the Image area top toolbar, Markup button menu, select Pixel Value Toggle.
Move the pointer over an image.
As you move the pointer, the pixel value is displayed below the pointer.
To hide pixel values, select Pixel Value Toggle again.
Pixel values are no longer displayed below the pointer.
