Determining which reporting solution to use

Choosing a reporting solution depends on four factors:

Consider each of these factors when selecting a reporting solution for a user or role.

To select a reporting solution

  1. From the Configure drawer menu Configure drawer menu, select Preferences.

  2. In the navigation pane, select the user or role to configure.

  3. In the details pane, expand the Text Area bar.

  4. On the Reporting tab, select one of the following:

    The changes are saved automatically when you switch context.

Even when two or more reporting solutions are installed and available, only one can be selected for each user or role.
