Although TalkStation and IMPAX can be integrated, they are not always synchronized with each other. For example, if you change to a different report in TalkStation, IMPAX does not automatically display the related study images. Similarly, if you switch to another patient's studies in IMPAX before completing the TalkStation report, TalkStation saves and closes the current report but does not automatically load the accession number of the new patient. You can configure how to synchronize TalkStation with IMPAX.
To configure how TalkStation synchronizes with IMPAX
From the Configure drawer menu
, select Preferences.In the navigation pane, select the user or role to configure.
In the details pane, expand the Text Area bar.
On the Reporting tab, select TalkStation.
Under the Synchronize TalkStation to IMPAX image area with section, select how you want to synchronize TalkStation to IMPAX:
To trigger synchronization by clicking the Dictate Study button in the Image area, select IMPAX Dictate Study icon.
If you also want to trigger synchronization by starting a dictation action in TalkStation, select Start dictation action.
To trigger synchronization by navigating to a study, select Study navigation.
The changes are saved automatically when you switch context.
