Listening to voice comments

Voice comments are an audible record that allow communication both within the radiology department and with other departments. For example, emergency (ER) physicians can record additional information in the voice comment that the radiologist needs to make an accurate diagnosis.

To listen to voice comments

  1. Display the Text area for the study of interest.

  2. Scroll to the Report panel.

  3. If not visible, switch to the Study Comments tab.

  4. If the list of voice comments is collapsed, click Expand All.

    Study comments and voice comments are listed in reverse chronological order and identified by the user who entered them.

    If a voice comment cannot be fetched, an information icon Problem loading voice comment is displayed. Click the icon to display possible causes and solutions.

    To collapse all voice comments, click Collapse All.

  5. To listen to the voice comment, click Play.

    While listening to the voice comment, you can fast forward and rewind to a particular point in the comment.

  6. To adjust the volume of the voice comment, click Volume Volume and adjust the meter accordingly. Volume meter

  7. To stop listening to the voice comment, click Stop.
