IMPAX 6.5.1 Client Knowledge Base: Extended > Dictating and reviewing reports > Highlighting key images for clinicians
Key images can be automatically created when certain markups are made to an image. Use the Customize dialog to define what type of markups automatically create key images. You must also configure that study changes are saved before closing a study.
To automatically create key images
If setting preferences for other users, impersonate the user or role.
Press F12 or, from the Image area top toolbar, click Customize. ![]()
In the Customize dialog, switch to the User Profile tab.
Switch to the Startup defaults tab.
To prompt to save study changes before closing the study, select Prompt to save study.
Switch to the Configurable Study Save tab.
Select the checkboxes of the type of changes to save and clear the rest.
The Markup checkbox must be selected to save key images.
Switch to the Markup Defaults tab.
In the Key Images area, from the list select the Document title to add the automatically created key image to.
Select the checkboxes for the type of markup you want to automatically create key images for.
The Save any other markup option includes:
Angle
Ellipse
Freeform
Ration calliper
Rectangle

To save the settings, click Apply.
To close the dialog, click OK.
