Study screen formats

The effect of each screen format is represented by the color and style of the lines used in each button, along with tooltip text.

Line appearance Display division

The tooltip text is in this format: Element: Rows x Columns, where Element is Study, Series, or Image.

Screen format examples

Button Tooltip Effect
Series:4x1, Image:1x5 Series:4x1, Image:1x5 Displays one study with four rows. Each row contains five images of one series.
Study:2x1 Study:2x1 Displays one image from each of two different studies, with one study on top of the other.
Image:4x5 Image:4x5 Displays one study, with its images arranged in four rows by five columns.
Study:2x2, Image:1x1 Study:2x2, Image:1x1 The first monitor displays one image from four different studies. The second monitor displays one image from one study.

The Image 1x1 Pixel and Image 1x1 True Size screen formats include images to distinguish them from the basic Image 1x1 format.

Button Name Effect
Image:1x1 Image:1x1 Displays one image at full screen size.
Image:1x1 Pixel Image:1x1 Pixel Displays one image at a 1:1 ratio, where 1 screen pixel equals 1 image pixel.
Image:1x1 True Size Image:1x1 True Size Displays one image at actual size, according to available image information.
Tip

Tip:

When using a Breast Imaging Radiologist license and viewing mammography studies, Comparative Review can be configured to automatically apply screen formats for screening breast images. In projection and extended monitor projection windows, normally only the Image 1x1 screen format is available.
