Changing the intersection point for reference lines

To scroll through the images of the study to focus on different areas for comparison, you can change the point of intersection of the active series.

To change the intersection point for reference lines

  1. On the orthogonal series, left-click and hold the square identifying the point of intersection for the series the user is navigating.

When the point of intersection square is correctly selected, the cursor turns into a hand and you can move the intersection point along the reference line.

    Note:

    Note:

You cannot adjust the intersection point for reference lines when in Active Target mode.

  2. Drag the square along the solid reference line to the desired position.

All linked series show the image closest to the new point of intersection.

Note:

Note:

The localizer series may appear to navigate strangely. This occurs because the first series in an MR study is often the localizer series with images from the different orientations (axial, sagittal, and coronal). Reference lines navigate through series of the same orientation.
