IMPAX 6.5.1 Client Knowledge Base: Extended > Logging in and out
Log out of IMPAX by removing your smart card or by closing the IMPAX session.
To log out by removing your smart card
Remove your smart card from the smart card reader.
Depending on the smart card removal behavior setting, one of the following actions takes place:
Windows locks the workstation but does not log out of IMPAX. If you do not unlock the workstation, IMPAX logs out automatically after a certain period of time.
Windows forces you to log out of both IMPAX and Windows. Before logging out, IMPAX finishes any operations currently running and saves your settings. This includes any studies you have set aside or opened in the Image area to refer to later.
Windows takes no action, causes you to remain logged into the IMPAX Client. Log out of the IMPAX Client manually.
To log out by closing IMPAX
From the List or Configure area bar, click Logout.
IMPAX closes and returns you to the desktop. Your settings are remembered. This includes any studies you have set aside or opened in the Image area to refer to later.
