IMPAX 6.5.1 Application Server Knowledge Base > Configuring and administering Active Directory authentication (ADAM)
On Windows Server 2003, configure Active Directory Application Mode (ADAM) to maintain IMPAX Client user login and privilege information. On Windows Server 2008, configure Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services (AD LDS) to maintain IMPAX Client use login and privilege information.
To configure ADAM
Verify that Certificate Services is installed on the domain controller.
Configure IMPAX to connect to an external domain controller instead of using the Agfa Healthcare domain to manage that information.
Optionally, to add IMPAX Client users, connect to the ADAM server.
Optionally, to configure the connection to the Spine Security Broker (SSB) so user sessions can be terminated on the Spine and be sent through to IMPAX.
To configure AD LDS
Verify that Certificate Services is installed on the domain controller.
Configure IMPAX to connect to an external domain controller instead of using the Agfa Healthcare domain to manage that information.
Optionally, to add IMPAX Client users, connect to the AD LDS server.
Optionally, to configure the connection to the Spine Security Broker (SSB) so user sessions can be terminated on the Spine and be sent through to IMPAX.
