IMPAX 6.5.1 Application Server Knowledge Base > Configuring spoke and hub communications
When a report for a study is requested, IMPAX examines the requesting service value for the study and looks it up on the list of report sources. If it finds the report source name, it communicates with that report source using the associated configuration settings. If it does not, it looks for the default report source. In hub and spoke configurations, you should specify the hub Connectivity Manager report source as the default report source.
To specify the spoke report source
On the Application Server, open the Business Services Configuration Tool.
Switch to the Web Services tab.
In the Report Info Sources section, click Add.
In the Report Source Provider box, type the name assigned to the HL7 In feed requesting_service.
From the RIS Type list, select Connectivity Manager Non-Queryable RIS.
Click OK.
