To connect to a domain controller outside of the IMPAX cluster, the domain controller must have Certificate Services installed. If Certificate Services is not installed, the connection is refused and users cannot log into IMPAX.
To verify that Certificate Services is installed on the domain controller in Windows 2008
Open the Server Manager.
In the left pane, right-click Roles.
Select Add Role from the context menu.
In the Add Roles Wizard, select Select Server Roles.
Select Active Directory Certificate Services.
Accept all the default values by clicking Next on each of the wizard's screen.
Click Install.
