Adding an additional IMPAX RIS database to the Application Server

If the site needs to have multiple IMPAX RIS databases connected to a single Application Server, perform these tasks to correctly configure the Application Server to support this.

To add an additional IMPAX RIS database to the Application Server

  1. Create a virtual directory for the additional IMPAX RIS database.

  2. Configure a Windows firewall exception.

  3. Connect the additional IMPAX RIS database to the Oracle 10g Client.

  4. Create a report source entry for the additional IMPAX RIS database.
