To retrieve reports and display them in the IMPAX Client Text area, establish a connection between the Oracle 10g Client and the IMPAX RIS database.

To connect the Oracle 10g Client to the IMPAX RIS database
Select Start > All Programs > Oracle - ohome > Enterprise Manager Console.
Under Network, right-click the Database folder and select Add Database to Tree.
In the Add Database to Tree dialog, in the Hostname field, type the name of the IMPAX RIS database.
In the Port field, accept the default value of 1521.
In the SID field, type QDOC.
In the Net Service Name field, type RIS_Service_Name.
where RIS_Service_Name is the service name of the IMPAX RIS database.
Click OK.
Close the Enterprise Manager Console.
