Use the Specialty Manager to define mappings between study descriptions or procedure codes and specialty identifiers. If a previously defined specialty mapping is no longer required, you can delete it.
 | CAUTION! Do not delete the default BODY specialty that has a rule number of 1,000,000. This rule catches any study descriptions that do not match any of the defined specialty mappings. |
To delete a specialty mapping
On the Setup tab, click Specialty Manager.
From the list of mappings, select the mapping to delete.
To remove the mapping and ensure that it is not applied to any incoming studies, click Delete.
To remove the mapping from existing studies, click Update.
Removing a mapping from existing studies may take a long time to complete.
