Use the Body Part Manager to define mappings between study descriptions or procedure codes and body part identifiers. If a previously defined body part mapping is no longer required, you can delete it.
 | CAUTION! Do not delete the DEFAULT body part mapping that has a rule number of 1,000,000. This rule catches any study descriptions that do not match any of the defined body part mappings. |
To delete a body part mapping
On the Setup tab, click Body Part Manager.
From the list of mappings, select the mapping to delete.
To remove the mapping and ensure that it is not applied to any incoming studies, click Delete.
To remove the mapping from existing studies, click Update.
Removing mappings from existing studies may take a long time.
