The Logs function tracks the activity on the system. The Logs menu lists the local log and all remote logs specified in the jclient.properties file and jserver.properties files.
Log messages are displayed if their log level is greater than or equal to what is currently selected in the Display menu for each log. Log messages are logged if their log level is greater than or equal to the current internal log level.
The Filter menu in the Local Log dialog controls the internal logging level. The Display menu in each log dialog controls the logging that is displayed in the log dialog.
Log entries are retrieved only if the current log length increases. The new text is read from the file and is appended to the displayed log text.
