To select a log to view, use the Logs menu. The Logs menu lists the local log and all remote logs.

To view system logs
From the Logs menu, select the log to view: Local, or one of the remote logs.
From the Display menu, select the log level to view: DEBUG, INFO, ERROR, or AUDIT level logging.
From the Display menu, select the checkboxes reflecting the parts of the log message to view:

| Show Log Level | Displays the log level letter at the beginning of each log entry. |
| Show Date and Time | Displays the date and time the message was logged. |
| Show Function Trace | Displays the trace/source of the error message. |
To set the focus of the cursor and scrollbar to the very end of the editor window, from the Display menu, select the Tail Log Messages checkbox.
If Tail log messages checkbox is not selected and you select an area of text and move the scrollbar up to somewhere other than the bottom of the scroll pane, the scrollbar remains there.
To set the number of seconds between refreshes of the log window for remote logs, select Options > Tail delay. In the Tail settings dialog, type the number of seconds and click OK.
To save a local log on a server, click Send Log to Server.
When done, click Close Window.
