Troubleshooting: DICOM connection problems

Issue

I am having problems connecting IMPAX to a device.

Details

Make sure you can perform a TCP/IP ping on other network devices. Each station must pass this simple connectivity test before you move on to DICOM troubleshooting.

Solution

You can ping other network devices:

  1. Open a command prompt.

  2. Type ping <host name> or ping <IP address>.

    [dap@nwg1: /usr/dap] $ ping as2
    No answer from as2

If IMPAX cannot ping the device, try the following:
