Demographic layouts define what study and patient information is displayed where on study images for a particular modality.
Default demographic layouts are provided for each modality type. You can use these default layouts or create customized layouts. Once created, the layouts can be applied to particular acquisition stations. If none is assigned, the default GENERIC_LAYOUT is used.
 | Note: A single demographic layout can clutter the image with information. Alternatively, you can configure two or three layouts for each modality type. That enables the Demographics Layout Toggle feature in the IMPAX Client, which allows different types of information to be displayed. To select a layout for demographic information
On the Setup tab, click Source Manager.
Switch to the Other tab.
From the list of stations at the bottom of the manager, select the acquisition station to configure.
From the Demographic layout list, select the layout to apply to the selected acquisition station.
Click Save.
