Standard DICOM fields are provided by default for inclusion in demographic layout templates. As required, you can create additional DICOM fields.
 | CAUTION! Do not create more than one custom DICOM field for each DICOM tag that you require. If you attempt to create a second custom DICOM field for a DICOM tag, the original custom field is overwritten. |
To create a custom DICOM field to use in demographic layouts
On the Setup tab, click Source Manager.
Switch to the Other tab.
Click Demographic Layout Manager.
In the Manager Dialog, on the bottom right toolbar, click New DICOM field.
Fill in the appropriate fields.
Data required includes Name, Modality, DICOM Group, and DICOM Element.
Click Save.
