Custom DICOM fields may have been created for inclusion in demographic layouts. As necessary, you can modify these.
These changes are applied to all layouts created or modified in the future for the specified modality. To modify the default prefix or suffix for a DICOM field for only the current layout, see Modifying DICOM prefixes or suffixes for the current demographic layout.
To modify a custom DICOM field used in demographic layouts
On the Setup tab, click Source Manager.
Switch to the Other tab.
Click Demographic Layout Manager.
In the Manager Dialog, in the Modality list, select the modality the field applies to.
In the DICOM Fields for <Modality> list, select the DICOM field to modify.
Click Edit DICOM Field.
Modify the settings as appropriate.
Click Save.
