Standard DICOM fields used in demographic layouts are predefined. As necessary, you can specify a site-specific prefix or suffix for these fields.
These changes are applied only to the current layout. To modify custom DICOM field for all layouts created or modified in the future, see Modifying a custom DICOM field used in demographic layouts.
To modify DICOM prefixes or suffixes for the current demographic layout
On the Setup tab, click Source Manager.
Switch to the Other tab.
Click Demographic Layout Manager.
In the Manager dialog, in the Modality list, select the layout to modify.
In the DICOM Fields for <Modality> list, select the DICOM field to modify.
Type the appropriate Prefix or Suffix.
Under the Display and Print buttons, select a blank field where you want to place the selected DICOM field with the modified prefix or suffix information.
Click Save Layout.
