Disabling IMPAX RIS filtering in the Text area

When IMPAX is integrated with the IMPAX RIS, the studies listed in the Study List can be filtered based on IMPAX RIS criteria. This functionality only works for RIS-only studies. The IMPAX RIS filtering button Disable IMPAX RIS filtering provides a visual indication that the list is filtered.

Note:

Once filtering is disabled, you must load a new study into the Text area to re-enable it.

To disable IMPAX filtering in the Text area

In the Text area, if the Study List is contracted, click the Study List bar to expand it.

Click IMPAX RIS filtering. Disable IMPAX RIS filtering

All known studies from both the IMPAX RIS and the PACS database are displayed.

Note:

Some information fields in the Study List may change their values. This results because the data is queried from a different database when filtering is disabled. For example, a filter is active which hides all the IMPAX RIS exams created before 2008. In the Study List, you see PACS studies for the patient dating from before 2008. The study date which is shown is the study date known in the PACS. If you disable the filter, the IMPAX RIS data is queried for those old exams and the study date is the one queried from the IMPAX RIS.
