![]() | CAUTION! Agfa recommends against configuring certain permissions (Dictate as Radiologist or as Resident, Export, Print, and Transmit) for study access rules that include Unverified studies. Unverified studies cannot be reconciled against the RIS for accuracy, so the patient identifiers, study identifiers, or other pertinent details such as patient demographics (name, age, sex, and so on) and relevant priors may be incorrect. When the Unverified study is matched with an order on the RIS, all the information in the IMPAX mvf database is updated and the update is not extend to the report (which could be permanently lost if the patient and study identifiers are changed) or to remote clusters or institutions that received the study prior to the HIS/RIS verification. |
Click OK.
The study access rule appears.
Rules that include unverified studies are marked with
.
Rules that include Confidentiality Codes such as VIP are marked with
(indicating that this permission is an emergency access permission). When studies are in the bucket defined by this permission, the lock icon appears on the Worklist bar, Search, Advanced Search, and Worklist List bars to indicate that restricted studies are available but not shown. Users can then choose to view the restricted studies by clicking on the lock.. The changes are saved
automatically when you switch context.
