In the navigation pane of the Configure area - Users and Roles section, you can quickly place a user into a different primary or secondary role by dragging the user into another role.
To moving a user to a different role
From the Configure drawer menu
, select Users and Roles.In the navigation pane, drag a user to a different role.
If you dragged a user from his or her primary role, the user now has a new primary role. Preferences, permissions, and licensing for that user are now inherited from the new role. Any custom preferences defined for that user are retained.
If you dragged a user from his or secondary role (indicated by italics), the user inherits the licensing and permissions of the new role, as well as access to study data allowed in that role, but his or her preferences still come from his or her primary role.
