When configuring stations, define the pixel size settings that are used on the diagnostic monitors when displaying an image at its actual size using the Zoom True Size tool. The pixel size also calibrates the diagnostic monitors for use with any other Image area features that display images at their actual size.
To define the pixel size for the diagnostic monitors
From the Configure drawer menu
, select Stations.
or
Or, from the List area bar, click the User ID menu
and select Station Configuration.
If in the Configure area, in the navigation pane, select a single station or station container to change all stations within that container.
In the details pane, expand the Image Area bar.
Switch to the Pixel Size tab.
Drag the Configure area onto the diagnostic monitor.
Using a ruler, measure the X or the Y line.
If required, adjust the monitor aspect ratio to make the X and Y lines equal in length.
These values must be identical.
In the Physical Monitor Pixel Size (mm) field, type the value in millimeters.
After entering the measurements, the system then calculates the pixel size to use for displaying images at their true size.
If in the Configure area, the changes are saved automatically when you switch context.
