Adding a description to a station

For each of the stations listed in the Configure area – Stations section, you have the option to add a description that helps identify that station.

To add a description to a station

  1. From the Configure drawer menu Configure drawer menu, select Stations.

    or

    Or, from the List area bar, click the User ID menu Configure drawer menu and select Station Configuration.

  2. If in the Configure area, in the navigation pane, select a station.

  3. In the details pane, expand the General bar.

  4. Switch to the Description tab.

    Note the Station Identifier information. This ID helps you identify which station is which when two (or more) stations have the same computer name. You can then rename one or both stations so that each is distinguishable in the stations list.

  5. In the Station Description field, type information that helps identify the station.

  6. If in the Configure area, the changes are saved automatically when you switch context.
