IMPAX 6.5.1 Client Knowledge Base: Extended > Reading studies > Viewing studies across monitors
System Layout Protocols are preset screen layout options that change how studies, series, and images are displayed across the available monitors. You can use these preset protocols when viewing studies of a specific anatomy over time, such as tri-phasic CT liver exams, SPECT NM exams, and MRS/CTA exams. The screen layout applied is based on the number of monitors available and the number of studies, series, and images to be displayed.
To apply a system screen layout
Display a time-based study.
From the top toolbar, click System
Layout Protocols.
Thirteen menu options are displayed, including CR Exam Overview, CT Exam Stack, Tri-phasic CT, and MR Stack History.
From the menu, select the option that describes the study being displayed.
The screen layout changes according to the selected option, the number of monitors available, and the number of studies, series, and images to be displayed. For a detailed description of the effect of each System Layout Protocol, refer to Effect of system screen layouts.
