After you have created a summary study, you can add more images to it. Images included in the summary study contain their original image attributes and study information, so you know which study the images came from.
To add images to an existing summary study
In the Image area, display studies from the patient whose summary study you want to add images to.
From the context or top toolbar, click Summary Study.
Or, if using the context toolbar text menu (Ctrl + right-click), select Organization > Summary Study.
In the Summary Study dialog, from the Summary Study Name list, select the summary study to add images to. Click OK.
Navigate through the displayed studies or series and click the images or scouts to add to the summary.
As you click images, they appear in the palette and are “tagged” with a summary study symbol. When adding an image from a multiframe series, the entire multiframe series is referenced.
When all images are added, right-click to finish.
At the prompt to save the summary study, click Yes.
All images in the summary study are combined as one series.
