When viewing teaching files in the Text area, you can choose to open them as a new patient in the Image area. This displays the images from the teaching file and places the teaching file in an anonymous patient tab in the navigation bar at the bottom of the Image area. You also have the option of displaying the teaching file in the current patient for comparison.
To open a teaching file as a new patient
In the Text area's Study List, on the Teaching Files tab, right-click on a teaching file.
Tip:
You can also click the Open Images icon to open the teaching file in the current patient.
Select Open as New Patient.
The images from the teaching file are displayed in the Image area. A new anonymous patient tab is created on the navigation bar at the bottom of the Image area.
 | Note: A teaching file can be opened only once in the Image area. Before opening the same teaching file in a different mode, close the teaching file first by clicking Images being viewed. |
