Adding key images from a different study

An image from a different study is often ideal as a key image. For example, you can use an imported image for comparison. Images must be copied into the study before they can be added as key images.

To add key images from a different study

  1. Import an image from another study.

  2. In the Image area, right-click the imported image to display the context menu.

The image you select can be a key image; however, you cannot add the key image to the document title category it already exists in.

  3. From the menu, select Add to Key Images.

  4. To group the key image in a particular key image note, select the appropriate document title.

In the Image area, a key image note is added as a series in the Available Series Tray and the key image is added to it.

If For Report Attachment was selected, in the Text area under the Report bar, a thumbnail of the key image appears. By default, all markups are shown on the key image thumbnail, even if you have the Image area set to show only your markups or show no markups on images.
