IMPAX 6.5.1 Client Knowledge Base: Extended > Reading studies > Viewing image information
Study comments are a free-text record that allow communication both within the radiology department and with other departments. For example, emergency (ER) physicians can record additional information in the study comments that the radiologist needs to make an accurate diagnosis.
To view study comments
Display the Text area for the study of interest
Scroll to the Report panel.
If not visible, switch to the Study Comments tab.
If the list of study comments is collapsed, click Expand All.
Study comments and voice comments are listed in reverse chronological order and identified by the user who entered them. The total number of study comments is listed; for example, Study Comments (2).
To collapse all study comments, click Collapse All.
