IMPAX 6.5.1 Client Knowledge Base: Extended > Reading studies > Viewing study text and priors

Viewing a report

After opening a dictated study or cycling a sign-off worklist, reports appear in the Report tab of the Text area Report pane. If IMPAX is integrated with a RIS, report information is retrieved from it when it is the source. If remote studies have DICOM SR reports, they are displayed.

Note:

Note:

Structured (DICOM SR) reports appear in the Structured Report tab of the Text area Report pane.

To view a report

  1. Display the Text area for the patient/study of interest.

  2. In the Text area, if the Report panel is collapsed, click the Report bar to expand it and view the report.

Normally the Report panel is expanded if the study is dictated and collapsed if it is new.

  3. To enlarge the Report panel, drag the expandable bar to the left or the Report bar higher.

  4. To view another report for this patient, click a dictated study in the Study List.

  5. Also view any key images associated with the report.

  6. If reports come from the IMPAX RIS, select the appropriate report view.

Note:

Note:

Radiologists using IMPAX Reporting can also dictate, transcribe, correct, and approve reports from the Report panel (assuming they have been assigned the appropriate permissions and preferences). However, remote reports (such as DICOM SRs) can not be modified.
